Sick, I’m sick of it!!

We all have these people around us that sneeze and cough without covering their mouth/nose with their hands. Now I am a little bit of a germ freak and I do not appreciate that at all. Apparently a sneeze can travel up to 5 meters… That is a scary distance if you ask me.

People that know me, know that I basically sneeze all day long and therefore spend most of the day with my hands attached to my face… truly is a blessing. Now take that picture in your head and add being sick to that picture. Got it? Yeah it’s not pretty is it?

So for people wondering where this is going, I woke up with a cold. Noticed it yesterday in my throat and ate a lot of vitamin C and drank all the orange juice but ehhh no it didn’t work.

Anyways it seems to be going around. I wonder who started this…

Cold always last so long and I don’t have the energy for that or the time. The last time I had a cold it lasted for about 2 weeks, must admit that I am too lazy to go to the doctors. 

In Ireland you have to pay every time you go to the doctor, let’s say about €50,- every time. That doesn’t include the medication that you have to pick up at the pharmacy.  A day at the doctors can cost you around €100,- depending on what kind of medication you get. So yeh I always like to go for the rest in bed treatment.

I think if healthcare systems were a competition Holland would have won this one.
